Ligilactobacillus salivarius strain NCIB 8816 (ATCC 29602) is a freeze-dried bacterial culture isolated from human saliva and provided for laboratory research. The strain is supplied lyophilized for secure transport and long-term storage and can be revived and cultivated under standard lactobacilli conditions.
- Freeze-dried preparation for long-term storage.
- Store refrigerated at 2 °C to 8 °C.
- Cultivate on MRS agar or broth (lactobacilli medium).
- Incubate at 37 °C under aerobic conditions.
- Biosafety level 1 organism suitable for basic laboratory research.
